Hanbok

Hanbok is a project of a fictional exhibition

on the traditional korean dress. My work consisted in reflecting on collective memory, but also on the debate

between “modern“ and “traditions“.

Does modernasing mean distorting traditions?

Memories and traditions aren't just the traces

of the past in the present?

MONOTYPE'S TECHNIQUE RESEARCHES

By exploring the possibilities that traditionnal and modern techniques' association can offer, I was able to give a unique, personal and thoughtful answer to the communication and the exhibition's problem.

Modernising traditions is, above all,

enriching by adding the mark of our time

in a collective memory that will endure.
